I couldn’t believe at first… Brenda of Brenda’s Wedding Blog and Best Wedding Sites sent me a DM on Twitter about featuring the photos from the fairy-themed wedding last May. You know, I remember I had to read it twice. Then it began to sink in.

Think of a land, far, far away. Think of all the stories you used to listen to when you were a child. Those cute little fairies with their pixie dusts and wands…. Prince Charming with wings… Fit for weddings ei?

I am so lucky to have been able to shoot the wedding together with Sir Martin, Marvin and Mark on May 9. Sir Martin invited me to shoot the wedding with him and I was thrilled. I did not know it was a fairy-themed wedding though so I got the surprise of my life when I got to the bride and groom’s cottage. I’ve never, ever, captured a wedding such as this one and this is an added bonus. Seeing all those beautiful flowers made me wish it was my wedding :)

OK, so on with the pictures :) I love those baskets. In fact I can’t get enough of them so I had to post another shot. Those butterfly wands and flowers are fit for every flower girl in the world!

I just love all the little details in the bouquet!

The dove basket was decorated with simple stocking flowers. It was later decorated with the most beautiful flowers. The wedding ceremony was held at the Baguio Cathedral.

At the reception (@ Baguio Country Club), I was like in flower heaven. There were so many flowers! The flowers and reception area was a sight to behold. I got here first before the guys so I had the chance to move around before the guests arrived. Can you tell I was trigger happy?

And saving the best for last. The wedding cake. This has got to be the most beautiful cake I have ever seen. Complete with fairies and mushrooms. If I had one of this made for me, I’m not sure if I will have the heart to eat it. Just check out the details!

Well, that’s about it. I am thrilled to have been part of the couple’s wedding and capturing an important moment of their lives. The wedding details for their wedding are beautiful and it was one of my goals to capture these.
